Rose Larosa

Principal Optometrist / Director
Biography:

Rose joined our practice in 2021, bringing a special interest in dry eye management, emergency eye care, children’s vision care, and vision therapy. In 2025, with Mark’s retirement, Rose became co-Director alongside Kirily — a role she embraces with enthusiasm and a deep commitment to patient care.

Although raised in Melbourne, Rose spent much of her childhood in Bendigo with extended family, and feels privileged to now care for the local community which has long felt like home.

When she’s not in the consulting room, you’ll find Rose curled up with a cup of Earl Grey and a good book, accompanied by her fluffy (feline) companion Bartholomew (affectionately known as Teddy). She also enjoys practicing calligraphy, wandering about the local region, and staying active within the Bendigo community.
