This one is close to home.
With a cluster of Delta cases in Shepparton and at least one local exposure site, we're taking this lockdown very seriously.
As Authorised Workers, we are able to provide 'urgent care' for those with sore eyes, sudden vision loss, or other time critical eye conditions. Should your only pair of glasses break, then we can see you to organise some more. It's all about keeping the community safe and away from hospitals as much as possible.
Unfortunately we have to postpone all routine appointments... again. We are so sorry to those who have already had to reschedule during previous lockdowns and are now affected again. Once we know for sure that this lockdown is over, we will be in touch to make yet another time. New appointment requests will also be going on a waitlist to ensure those who need rescheduling are seen first.
What are we doing to keep you and our team safe? Well, we have split our wonderful team into groups again, so that we don't come into contact with each other and in the event of a COVID exposure, we always have a group ready to look after you. The practice has the required COVID Safe plan, and observes all of the rules regarding QR Code check-ins (with a back up list in our practice software), cleaning and sanitising, social distancing and limiting the number of people in the practice.
